Hi, im experiencing a new issue with my memory seats.

I got used to my chair moving me towards the wheel when i was inserting the key in the ignition, and move me back when exiting the car.

this function has stopped working (at first intermittently, now it doesnt work at all)

what could be the issue?

btw, memory settings wont move it fwd or backwards either. Could be linked?

Check the flapper at the opening where the key is inserted. Make sure it moves freely and is not stuck in the open (key inserted) position.

flapper looks half open, but it works, as i can hear the immobilizer. Plus now the seat moves back when i take take the key out, cause i set its position to maximum backwards with key out, as someone suggested here on the forums.

problem persists with seat advancing at key in.
Sounds like it gets stuck. When i insert the key i can hear it click and i feel it trying to move forwards like a millimeter but it doesn't. Its stopps.

seat isnt stuck, as adjustment buttons work.
