Default 2004 S-type 3.0 very shaky start

my 2004 s type has an incredibly shaky startup in the cold weather. the car has had previous fuel injection problems so i thought it might be that. When i start the car its very jumpy and shaky and all the lights flicker and it struggles not to stall out. would it have anything to do with the battery or could it be that water got into the gas? almost every gas station where i live has 10 percent ethanol.

A can of gas dry wouldn't hurt. In addition you might have a bad coil or a coil boot with a pinhole that's firing off to the metal around it. This happened to a Chrysler 3.5 V6 I used to own.

You really should try a couple of tanks of non-ethanol.
