Default 2004 St Type R surging

Hello
I have recently had the trans pan and fluid changed on my STR with the kit recommended on here.
I am still having the surging problem between 40-60Km/hr and also the car takes longer to go into 6th gear on the highway.Otherwise the car seems to be fine.

Any thoughts.
Fitz

Welcome Fitz. The torque converter can be problematic on these cars, causing surging that requires replacement ($1200 new or $450 for a rebuilt unit). My 03 STR is currently having the trans. inspected for a similar symptom....surges 200 rpm from cold up until full operating temperature. Do you have a warranty? Keep us posted.
