2005 Stype 2.7 petrol
Help plse E.M.S on instrument panel indicated fault, diagnostic
machine read code P0460 understand this relates to fuel level sensor
circuit.Where is this located? is it a Main dealer job? and at what cost?
any help would be appreciated.

Best place to look for suggestions is the workshop manual (£3 ebay). Be very careful if you do any work as a small spark can be a fatal error.
BTW, there's no such thing as a 2.7 petrol S-Type. Either you have diesel (in which case spark not a big worry but high pressure is very dangerous) or another size petrol.

Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit
I have the same problem with the same error code. Where can I get a manual in Canada? Sometimes when I fill up, I get a fuel computer data error that disappears in a day. Sometimes when I fill up, the guage says only partly full, and corrects itself in a while. Now I have an engine malfunction light with the P0460 fault code. Any ideas? I have no dealer within a day's drive.
