Good morning!
How long to you ppl let your car warm up for in this cold weather?
Is it needed....or is it safe for the car to drive it within a couple min...
Thanx!!

NO car needs to 'sit and warm up'. You're just wasting gas. Drive gently for the first few minutes and you're all set.

Mikey is correct.....

Some will say its actually bad for the car to warm up as a hot motor will put undo stress on other cold moving parts. mmmmm debatable.........

When its been -10f here,I let the engine warm up for 3-5 minutes, not for the car but for me.
I like to feel warm air coming out of those vents..

-10C cold? That's balmy! No need to let it warm up except for your own comfort. Car actually warms up quicker when it's running.

Drive straight away, but gently for 5-10mins at least.
