Good evening everyone - well my easy care total care warranty is now expired...but I thought I would mention the work that was done to the car for the $3600.00 I paid for it...

bank 1 and 2 sens
mass air flow sens
imt rings
coolant tank res
something called elbows?...it was done at same time as imt rings..
brand new heated windscreen
new torque converter - along with trans pan and 10 liters of new trans fluid
new rear diff and drive shafts
dccv
2 new sets of keys cause they were worn out..and programmed
rear back up sensor
the dome light modual on the roof of the car...believe it or not...this part is 1300.00
Replaced Flaps and motors behind the dash - air blew out of all vents..

19k worth or repairs in 3 years of having that warranty.

I paid to have my plugs done at time of imt rings...

What was wrong with your rear diff prior to replacement?

 

Might have been one of the bad batch, sounds the right era. Afterwards jag changed supplier. New kind need changed drive shaft(s).

 

Good evening! It was making a whine at 100km an hour.....so I took it in....and they said they had to replace the whole thing....total job was $4658..labour part of this was $499.50

I had no idea a whine would have led to this kind of a repair! So happy I mentioned this whine...or I would have been the one making the WHINE!

 

Holy crap! That's a lot of repairs!

I don't think I could keep my Jag if I had that much trouble and I have a STR.
