2006 S type V6 issue.
Recently I broke a belt while driving my 2006 S type V6, turns out the tensioner pulley froze and came apart. Replaced the pulley and belt now its taking longer to crank before it starts. Kind of strange how that problem has anything to do with this issue. Thoughts?
Charge the battery and see if that helps. If the belt had been slipping, the alternator may not have been charging properly and the battery may have slowly run down.
You will want an automatic charger with at least a ten amp output. A trickle charger won’t cut it, as they are not sufficient to recharge a depleted battery.
After the battery is fully charged, test the charging system. On a 2003+ model, you should see around 14.5 volts after engine start, tapering down around 13.5 after a few minutes.
