Does anyone know if it’s possible to mount a 3rd gen s type bumper to first gen. I’m kinda turning one of my 4 s types into a bit of a project car with the goal to make it look something close to this

 

The bottom picture bumper would have to be pulled from a boneyard somewhere. I’m even thinking the 2nd gen facelift bumper with the round fog lights might be a good idea too. Lmk if the dimensions would line up if anyone knows

 

Either bumper would need 304 stainless mesh

 

This is how it looks currently. Pretty nice but I definitely wouldn’t mind the newest bumper w/chrome inserts

 

Are you good with body work? To answer your question no, they are not direct bolt on. You will have to modify the facia.

 

Yea was thinking that. I guess because they changed the grille? So my next question is does an 08 bumper bolt onto an 05(round fog lights) since it also has the shorter grille?
