4.0 throwing codes

I am kind of new to the Jaguar scene, but I have a 2000 S-Type with the 4.0 V8. The other day I was coming home from the gym and the car went into "Failsafe Engein Mode" so I got it home, took out the throttle body and gave it a good cleaning. Well during that process I soaked that little black sensor that I'm guessing tells the computer how far open the butterfly valve is. It was fine for a day then it threw a check engein light. I had them scan it at Autozone it pulled up P1576 and P0156. Does anyone know what I messed up and or how to fix it?
Thanks,
Sean

Any chance you've a failing battery or have disturbed wires/connectors? You can look up DTCs on the net e.g. in google:
jaguar code P1576
or get them from the workshop manual ($10 ebay).
Those two do not relate to the throttle body.
