There is a diagram of the 4.0 V8 coolant level sensor in the parts guide. Part number 14 on page 6 (link below).

Is the temp sensor located at the coolant reservoir? 2002, S Type, 4.0L
My temp guage shoots up to High (1-2 Sec), the comes back down after a minute or so. Takes about 6 Sec for it to come down. I'm pretty sure the engine can't heat uyp and cool down that fast....
