antifreeze leak

Have a 2001 S type 6 cyl jag sedan. After driving for at least 20 minutes or a few hours and shutting down, there is a very slight leak of antifreeze coming from the area of the reservoir. The car does not overheat and the temperature gauge shows a normal temperature. After driving and getting the engine to normal temperature, the level of antifreeze in the reservoir increases slightly. and seems to reach the slotted openings in the reservoir. While idling, there is no leak, however, after shutting down the car and watching for 15 minutes or so, there is a very slight leak which stops after the car cools and the liquid level returns to normal. Any ideas?
those reservoirs delvelop cracks on the back side. Replace it, and slice in a T for the bypass hose while youre at it. Cut out the factory 1 and useing a vacuum T and hose clamps replace that part. They break if you look at them at your age
