The auto close function (lock all doors and close all windows and sunroof) works with the key in the door, but not with the remote. Do you think a new battery for the remote will fix it? The remote seems to perform all of the other functions that I thought it was supposed to perform.

 

I don't believe its programmed that way in this country. I'm pretty sure its a safety rules issue where the key must be in the door to roll the windows up from the outside.

It needs to be activated by the dealer or someone with the equipment, and is only available on post facelift 2002.5/2003 cars.
