BFS,

Any update on your headlight sensor situation? I have the same problem and am probably going to replace the sensor. Has anyone done this? Do you have to take the dash off, or can you go through the firewall or just turn and pull the sensor straight out?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Patrick. The auto headlights cont. to be unoperational and I saved this issue for the spring. I've read that the pillar trim must be removed in order to lift the dash pad to access the sensor. Please let me know how it goes.

You boys realize you can test the sensor by jumpering two wires behind the instrument cluster. I'd do that before I went ahead with ripping the dash apart...

Here's the diagram.

Take care,

George

To save ripping things apart, the ICM can be asked what input it sees. In AutoEnginuity:
Exterior Lamp Night Day Sensor
Then cover and uncover the sensor.
I expect IDS and maybe WDS can also read it.
