Automatic transmissions for 2003 Jaguar S-Type

I have a 2003 Jaguar S-Type. recently it seems to stall while accelerating. Sometimes it seems to slip gears.

Do you have any warning lights or messages on dash - Gearbox Fault??

It may well be engine-related (such as an air leak) as they upset the trans.

+1 on more information needed.

Is this a 3.0 or 4.0 litre? Number of kilometres/miles? Is the MIL on and if so, what DTCs are stored?
