I'm guessing no response to your contact yet manycars?
If not you are probably going to have to put it down to experience, please don't start using this thread to bash the UK Forum otherwise this may become one of the few threads that gets shut down/deleted here.
Thanks Gents.

Hi Norri
Nothing yet, but what do you mean by putting it down to experience? If I've done no wrong, what have I learned except you can get banned on a whim or in error, with no communication from the mods either way?

Lol....I'm sure I saw that thread on one of my rare visits there.

I guess what Norri is saying is that you've been banned from the site, for whatever reason. You have tried many times various ways by the sound ofthings to get an answer as to why, with no results to date.

You can either continue to try and get answers or deal with it and move on.

Norris's other comment is on the ball too. Although there hasn't been any UK forum bashing, its obviously a delicate matter as it stands.

Anyone bashing the UK site or any other forum for that matter will be removed forthwith.

Its not what we're about here.

Jim pretty much summed it up, I'm not suggesting you did anything wrong, I don't know, but if you can't get a response to your contact what more can you do?

Manycars, once you get used to this forum, you'll find everyone here very friendly and helpful. It's one of the best Jaaaaag forums around. Even though I don't have a Jaaag (for now...c'mon lottery)..I still lurk...just in case.

Hi Jim, Norri and Jay
It looks like I will leave it and move on, as it would appear I am persona non gratis on the UK site. Their loss.
I am and have been, a member on many sites in all sorts of areas. I have no intention of 'bashing' any sites, here or in the UK. As I've said before, I'm in this for the community aspect and to get/give advice from/to others. Friendly banter is always welcome, as it should be.

I've seen that site have a day or two's messages all go missing occasionally - guessed a hard disk crash. Doesn't look to explain the current issue, though, sorry.

What the UK site mods do is up to them, but it's a shame they don't feel the need to explain. The more I ponder, the less I'm interested. Moving on....

I realise that many of my former colleagues are on this site, along with many new to me faces, so I'm happy to jump ship if you'll have me.

Of course you're more than welcome here.

We try really hard not to operate a them & us policy here, as I'm sure they do on their site.

After all, we're all Jag lovers at heart.

We have many members that use this site as well as the UK version and vice versa, we have no issues as it makes total sense to get as much info as possible.

I'm closing the thread as its run its course and we can all move on.

Hope you enjoy the site
