Belly Pan - Again
About five months ago I posted questions about fastening my belly pan after it was not fastened properly when I bought the car then ran over a concrete curb stop in a parking lot and damaged it further. I wound up fastening it with some threaded clips and half washers but never really happy with my jerry-rigged solution.
I am looking for a source for a new belly pan, and I suspect the real name is something else, but have had no luck finding it in the parts list or suppliers like jag bits, SNG Barrett, and a few others. Does anyone know the part number and correct name for the "belly pan" or even better a supplier that carries them?
It is time for an oil change so a perfect time to replace the pan.

I assume you are referring to the engine undertray, which has a JLR part number of XR844760. There is also a front valance fitted to the underside of the front bumper; XR849683 or XR849684 depending on the VIN.
When ordering parts from a Jaguar agency, always provide the VIN as some part numbers may have been superseded.

The S-Type under trays are currently not being manufactured. The original supplier stopped production. As of 2 weeks ago when I checked there are no new ones in the USA at the moment. Hopefully Jag will get a new supplier at some point.
06 S Type part # XR844760

No connection to me but might be worth a try.

I tried that, all the ones I found had been damaged beyond use. According to Jag they have new lower covers under test . I called my local Jag dealer today and they claim they will be available in 2 - 3 months or that's what their parts locator says.
