I've searched the forums and haven't found the explicit answer to this question:

Can I use Castrol GT LMA in my '06 S-Type?

The manual calls out the Jaguar Super DOT 4, but the I can't find Super DOT 4. Castrol says the GT LMA "exceeds" DOT 4. How far does it have to exceed DOT 4 to be "Super?"

 

There's four current DOT specs for brake fluid 3,4,5 and 5.1. All except 5 are intermixable as it is silicone based, the others are not.

 

Ok, that makes sense. I seem to recall reading something on the net about 5.1 being ok, but not 5.
