Im looking at a 2003 s type r. 12,000 with 31000 miles. Sound like a good deal? Is there anything i should be worried about.

Will you DIY or how will you afford upkeep?

If you can't or won't DIY any S-Type can be a money pit and the STR is easily the most complex so guess what...

I think there's a buying guide around if you look.

You want to be able realistically to check out a car yourself in great detail for maintenance etc so you know what's what.

Someone may wonder what currency...

Ok. I do most of my work myself. I can do anything besides major engine or transmission work. Even if i had to do that i can get it done cheaper. I wanna take a good hard look at it just to be sure. I like the car but they're to hard to find

Buy XK.
S-type is old farts car, it doesn't matter which engine it has.
I had XJS V12, it was a nice car! Now I want XK. I'll buy it as soon as I find one for $1000.
$8к KBB value:

Old farts car? What are you 17? The STR is far superior. My friend thought it was an old farts car too until I walked away from his mustang gt from a stop light one day. That's right, get smoked by a "grandpa car" lol. Kids Smh. Btw I'm 36

Not everybody races from stop light. Maybe 1%. How many times did you race?
Not everybody cares how much he pays for gas. I do.
Maybe I am just jealous?
I am not 17. I am an old fart driving S-type. (but I run 30 min. every day )
