A/C issue for 2003 S-Type
Paula, our vehicles maintain the temp for you. So, when you have the ventilation system running normally, the A/C system runs all the time to dry out the air. This causes the incoming air to be colder than you are wanting. So, this forces the system to run the heat a little bit to warm the air back up to what you want. This is normal for the vehicle. if you are not wanting the air dried, then you can normally turn off the A/C manually, which should also prevent the heat from running too. But, keep in mind that if the air temp rises, the system will not be able to cool the air. So, this would involve you turning the A/C back on manually.
have fun in Mill Creek. I loved that area. Used to live in Bremerton and ended up in Mill Creek all the time.
