Check Engine Light on!!!???

Check Engine Light on!!!???

So the other day, the check engine light turned on. I have a 2000 S-type 4.0 and the OBD code was P0065, and read
" Air Assisted Injector
Range
Performance"

What and where is this? I cant find any info on it?

it is bolted to the front of the throttle body. That code normally means replacing it. It is a roundish looking valve with a small electrical connector going to it. Sorry I can't be more descript than that. But it is on very front of throttle housing area close to intake manifold

Is that the Air Mass Meter? Do they make an after-market perfomance version?

It is not the mass air meter. it is a roundish valve. Hard to explain. I will try upload picture of it.

I had the same problem, the check engine sign turned on. So I took it to the dealer and it ended up being a hold fuel filter, I wasn't told I was supposed to change it every 30,000 miles even if I was I only put 5,000 miles on the car since I got it. But long story short warrenty didnt want to cover it and i was left with a 600 bill to fully clean the system.
