Cost to replace sway bar bushings?

Called a dealer to get an idea of what's involved to replace the front sway bar bushings per the infamous TSB. Clunking noise going over the bumps.

Service "advisor" says six or seven HOURS of labor to replace 30 dollars worth of rubber bushings!! He said they have to practically take the whole front of the car apart to get at these things. I don't get it; looks to me that they are tight but accessible with a lift. Anyone have any experience with this?

thats BS, get a real quote, do you really think that you can get an accurate quote over the phone from and advisor that doesnt do the work, gets calls all day long about stuff like this and shoots a price from the hip. Yes some advisors know times aboiut most repairs, but by and large they do not. Book time for this repair is I believe 3.4 hours

I just did mine in under two hours. I only changed the end links. $25 a piece at the local parts store. One side at a time. Jack the car up, pull the tire and there if is. You'll need a 14mm wrench (if not a 13mm)and a good pair of vise grips.
