DIY? S type R Supercharged V8

I have the S type R Supercharged V8. My dash cracked right in half on top by the windshield. I found a whole dash to replace it with that matches perfectly on EBay but I have never taken out a whole dash before. Do you need any special tools? Or is this one that I should just take into my Jaguar mechanic to put in? I would like to do it myself just because I enjoy doing whatever work on my car that I can.
I am thankful for any help or suggestions any of you may have for me.

I have a 2001 S-Type that had a cracked defroster panel that sets between the dash and the windshield. I decided that I didn't want the hassle and expense to replace the part, so I ordered a dash cover that only covered that panel (and not the entire dash). Not sure the differences between an R and a regular S-Type, but that might be an option is the dash is the same.

No need to take apart the dash. Disconnect the pillars on each side of windshield. I'm sure there are a few more steps but taking the dash apart is not necessary.

You need a demister panel. Can order from Jaguar for around $400 plus. Personally, I'd try Ebay or a wrecker.

I think I have one but I believe it's for 2000-2002 MY's.
