Default Electric Exhaust Cutout

Just thought I'd post this for some of you guys doing the exhaust mods. I read a post from whiteSTR saying he had them but no one else ever mentioned them.
Welcome to DMH Performance!

I have thought about it. Putting it right before the stock exhaust. I think it would work very well, best of both that way.

I'm also curious. I'm on a local euro board (only Jag ) where alot of BMW guys are running those on M3's and they sound pretty wicked. A few guys said they rarely shut them off to run the full exhaust except when rolling with the family and need to quiet it down. Would be interesting to hear what it sounds like on a Jag.

You think it would sound close to this. This is one of the guys on the local euro board here that made a nice video comparing the cutouts open and closed with an x-pipe and cats. Its on an M3 though but sounds pretty nice.

The exhaust going through the stock piping with no mufflers sounds lower than that to me. I will take a vid and upload my car tomorrow.

So you are running no mufflers. Do you have anything else done or just muffler delete?

I took the mufflers off one day just to see the difference. The nice thing is it took me all of maybe 5 mins to remove each muffler. Loosen the bolt, wiggle it out and off the rubber hanger.
