Engine shudder

Hi I've got a 4 litre v8 1999 s type just had all chain tension replaced but I've got a shudder between 40 to 60 mph it's driving me mad please help

Check the coils - could have an intermittent failing coil. Also, could be an alignment issue. Make sure all connections to each coil and fuel injector are snug and tight.

Could also be a failing battery that simply cannot drive the coils adequately.

If the coils check out the transmission TQ is a possibility.

Has the transmission been serviced?
