Good find Tbird. Now try to find a pic "installed" on a 2005-2008 rear bumper lol to quote Lindo Jong from the Joy Luck Club.. "Not so easy anymore" lol
I found 2004 and earlier pics easier to come by which made my whats available for an '05 rear bumper search a bit more difficult. Stinks we have no love from either factory or aftermarket in mass like say the XJ as I think the body style of the S-Type stands out with modern cars... in a classic way, but it needs to look the part if its an R for Pete's sake other than less front lighting! lol
I thought my description of the sound was... good. (coming from you rasputin who has the same set up, plus cats) At the time of the post, I tried to upload a sound clip to be thorough.. but it isnt uploading.
Actually took a second one yesterday after reading all your insightful replies.. but same results.
I'd say the Mid Moofler added on a scale of 1-10 in terms of sound... like a 1.75 lol Something... but not woah... just enough how the R should have sounded stock from the factory with people saying "Man I gotta get an exhaust!" lol.
You guys will just have to take my word. Its someting but not life changing which is perfect for me.
But back to the tips on this tip thread...
Simply search ebay with the style you are looking for and I'm sure you can find something inexpensive that will make you happy. I got my tips from Carro-Motors who gave great communication, pricing and quick delivery. Couldnt be happier.

 

Looks good, would've like to hear the sound though as Rasputin mentioned. Which Magnaflow mid-muffler did you go for?
