Default Fail safe mode

Does anyone know how to reset this code if there's a way manually? I had issues with my throttle body which I assumed caused the car to go to limp mode. I just replaced the throttle body with a new one and tried cranking the car and still nothing..any help/ideas thanks.

It can't hurt. You ought to read the codes. You're working blindfolded right now.

Drive down to your local auto parts store (AutoZone, Advanced Auto or Sears) and get them to read the codes. Removing the FailSafe does not fix the problem!

I just went back on your other post about the TB. You need to get the codes and post them not the meaning, the real codes. It seems to me that you replaced the TB based on what someone told you to do. If you are unable to barrow a code reader then purchase a small one just for the codes. I have one that I use for that reason and it only cost $35.00. As a side note AutoZone & Advanced Auto have a fuel pressure gauge you can barrow as part of a tool loaning program.

Quit the guessing game and get the facts and find the real cause of the problem.

Your right I don't have a code reader nor the tools to check myself, thanks for the information on borrowing some tools at autozone. I'll deff stop by tomorrow and loan a fuel pressure gauge and also a voltage meter to check the battery.

If you are going to have the battery tested you will be best served by taking the battery to AutoZone and have them test it.

Yeah ima take it once I figure out how to take off the battery I took of both terminals but I can't figure out what's holding down the battery. I also unscrewed the black bracket holding down the battery from the top
