Pls my jag s type goes off after 30mins drive and refuse coming on again until after about7 to 8 hrs, pls can someone help explain what can possibly be wrong with the car? I have changed the fuel pump already and the problem still persist.

Can you please provide more details so we can try to help? Year and engine, for starters. What happens when the engine dies? Does it lose power first or sputter, or does it just quit without warning, as if you had turned off the key? Any fault codes stored? Any warning messages on the dash? Even if the engine won't restart right away, does the starter engage normally?

How about the recent history of the car? Have you owned it a while and all was good until this new problem appeared? Or did you just buy it?

Lots of little details will help, so please fire away.
