Still cleaning up after rat blitzkrieg, (although foxes have moved in next door and rats have booked), and was wondering how much of a nightmare it is to put in new fender liners (front). Looks not hard, but... thanks.
Swapping wheel arch liners is very easy, but note that some of the fixing elements, which look like philips-head screws are in fact those fixing elements, where you need to pry out that, which looks like the philips-head screw from its surrounds with a tiny screwdriver or similar and then pull out the complete fixing element. And some if not all of those will break, but you can buy them on cheap online platforms.
And why do you want to swap them? Is there no way to weld the broken plastic back together again?
It took me a while to find it - the thread, where I described, how I fixed my wheel arch liners with bits of wire and a soldering iron, but here it is, in case you want to to that route: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...cement-288446/
It is really not that difficult to remove them.
But while you have them off, it might be a good idea to replace the fuel filter, which is hidden behind the left wheel arch liner...
They were too expensive from Jaguar for me. I got and installed the cheap after market versions. I mean for $50 you get a pair of them.
So pretty cheap. Now they are NOT as good as the Jaguar ones as they are thinner and more flexible plastic. But that's not all bad and they seemed to hold up anyway. S-Type Fender Liners

Thanks Scott and Club -- sounds like an adventure! Have to fix what some rats did -- good news is now that Foxes have moved into the neighborhood, rats are history.
Just remembered something: If you plan to swap the fuel filter, while the wheel arch liner is off, it would be an annoying experience to have all the parts at hand, but not being able to get the old fuel filter off. These are very handy tools for that - very cheap and they seem to have them e.g. on Amazon:
