JUST REBUILT MOTOR, need to get car flashed motor from 05 maybe Im not sure... dealer has a no time to get it in before moving all Jag service work to even further from me.... If anyone knows someone in DFW area let me know. Thanks.

 

What flashing? Why? Post is too terse so makes no sense.

 

2003 car... bought another motor from 2005... Firestone said it may need to be Flashed (resetting computer brain) don't know why but that was a recommendation. Only other problem is O2 sensors.

 

They appear misinformed i.e. wrong.

 

The PCM doesn't care which engine it's connected to. So long as it's a compatible engine it should just run it. Your O2 sensors might be different story but...
