Default Front baljoint

Hello
Next week I'm gonna change the lower ball joint at front. Left is verry bad.also steering ball joint needs replacement.
Are the upper the same as the lower?
At the supplier where i buy most parts its only mention lower... That suggests upper are different, but don't see upper so for now i ordered 4x the same. If different i can always send back.
Also multi belt is very bad so i don't like to drive to much afraid that it breaks
And if it breaks I don't have cooling anymore....
In my 75 i had an extra coolant pump electric
Another thing is the pully of the alternator i ordered a new one but change that thing is a different story

Car details - year, engine etc - matter and without them people may struggle to help...

Jaguar only offered the lower ball joints complete with the vertical link and uppers as part of the upper control arm.

The lowers are available as replacement parts from suppliers and can be removed and replacement pressed into the cast aluminum vertical link.
They are known to seize and loosen the nut. Jaguar issued a TSB on checking the nut for torque.
If the nut loosens, replace the ball joint. It will keep loosening the nut with steering.

Here are some links you may find helpful.

My experience replacing the upper control arms. As previously mentioned, the upper ball joints are part of the upper control arms and can not be replaced separately:

At that same link, see post #7. There is some discussion of how to replace the lower ball joints, which are available separately in the aftermarket. At the time, the lower ball joints on my car were fine and I did not replace them then.

About a year later, one of the lower ball joints finally gave out. The car was already in a local shop for new tires and a front end alignment, so they replaced the ball joint for me. Some details on the part numbers here, as one brand did not fit properly. Sorry, I do not know which brand worked and which did not:
