hello guys, i need help with my 2000 s type, it has a misfire that i cant cure, i changed all coils. first when i start the car up it idles fine. i drive it for a few miles and as soon as i come to a stop, it starts to misfire. if i turn it off and start it right back up. the misfire is gone until i slow down again. The climate control only blows cold air. doesn't matter how high i seat the heat. o christ, and let me tell you about the gear box. all gears work, but when i put it in drive and hit the gas. it seems to jump out of gear. when i put it in drive from park, it takes about 20 seconds to engage. guys i need your help. does anyone know of a decent mechanic in the central jersey area (freehold,nj) local or whatever is fine. i cant afford to take it to the dealer.

 

I don't want to make any promises but Al's Auto Repair on Mantoloking Road in Brick has been doing some minor sevice on my Jag and knock on wood but if anything major going wrong I will give them a try. I do see some very high end cars there
and I like there friendly service.
