A dirty or faulty Handbrake Switch is the first thing to check. This is the manual lever version (item 4):

The Electric Park Brake has a control module and position switch.

The easiest thing to check would be the brake fluid level. If it is low, the e-brake light on the dash will come on.

hey guys, I replaced the switch and the brake light still comes on. I also checked the brake fluid and its full. I just replaced the brake booster because it was faulty. Still no luck and the brake light still comes on.

I think next is to check which signal is making it happen. You could add wiring to either sensor and check whether the related item is activated when the light comes on. (You could use specialist OBD tool, but it's not the cheap way.)

Post back with the result, or if it turns out neither is the cause.
