I was going to be clever and say "Have you looked on ebay?" but then I saw how much 2nd hand S-type lights are on eBay in the USA. They are under £50 over here.
If it's only the lenses, maybe you could get them posted from the UK, assuming a RHD lens is the same.
e.g.
Jaguar S-Type 1999-2007 RIGHT HEADLIGHT REPLACEMENT LENSE ref...4747l | eBay

Great advice Keith . . . sometimes international shipping is a killer, especially to us in Oz, but OTOH, some of your UK booksellers have woken up to the almost universal Asian trend of "post free" to anywhere. Yours is a timely reminder that with a worldwide www shopfront, we should check all options. Well done.
Cheers,
Ken

To my knowledge there are no aftermarket assemblies out there; only new or used.
You'll need to specify model year and halogen or HID when shopping for replacements, as they're different.

I bought 2 on eBay for less than half of what new ones would cost; they'd been refurbished with new adjusters by the seller. Then I had an auto body shop install them for $100. That was the cheapest way to go at the time.

How useless is that? We've been berating new members to add vehicle details to their sigs for years, only to learn now that they don't appear on mobile devices.

Adding to Rick's finding of truth, I just noticed yesterday that if you post from your mobile device (from which you can't see any signatures) it does not append your signature to your post so it can't be seen later on a proper computer, either!

I am in a similar predicament . My headlights are working fine , however the Plastic lenses have some cracking from the inside and are getting dull. I want to just replace the lenses . I have looked all over eBay and for some reason I don't see them anywhere . Is what I'm trying to do no generally done? How in the world do I just replace the plastic lenses and where would I buy them ?

Scroll down to post #17 where Igotthemoveslikejaguar has posted pics of his HID headlights. Note the circular disc-shaped projector lens inside the low beam assembly. That projector lens is peculiar to the HID headlights; halogens don't have it. So if your low beams look like those in the pic with the projector lens in the assembly, then you've got HIDs. If your low beams don't have that projector lens, then you've got halogens.
