Default Heater Valve

I need a new heater valve for my 2000 Jaguar S Type 3.0L.

The cost difference for a 2000 heater valve ($220) and a 2002 heater valve ($85) is substantial. The parts look identical but at nearly every online site I visit the prices the above.

I was told by a friend that these parts could be identical. Does anyone know if I can use the 2002 heater valve in my 2000?

For more info use Search

I think yours will have 5 ports whereas the later has only 3. Try a Lincoln LS part. Also, try amazon

You're right on. It seems the Motorcraft YG355 Heater Valve for the Lincoln LS is the same as the Jag S Type 2000.

Thanks.
