Cool Heater Valve Replaced...Now This

The heater valve was replaced to fix the heating issue. We now have heat, but when switching to the a/c, the air blows cold on the passenger side, but hot on the drivers side. Any suggestions?

Maybe damaged wiring or more likely the module

I think you have a different valve than what is fitted on the 2003 and sub, possibly a different module, as well. But to the extent there is any commonality, I had the same symptoms as you are reporting and John is correct, a module trace was burned:

Thanks, I will give that a try. Anyone familiar with this repair service or should I seek a new part? DIY: Diagnose It Yourself - JaguarClimateControl.com

They are not too expensive if you look around. This link shows the effort of disassembling the DCCV. JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource

Even though he pulled it down to see why it failed. A new part was used to replace the old one.

Part Number: 2000-2002 JAGUAR S-Type Heater Control Water Valve NEW XR8 22975

Link for the part $68 from PartsGeek.

I bought my DCCV from Amazon it did not work. It was not a genuine Jaguar part.

I believe the Lincoln part fits: Motorcraft YG355 Heater Valve. But not necessarily cheaper.
