How do you change a bulb on a stype fog light? The manual says send in for service and Im not going to do that to change a bulb so whats the seceret?

The fog lamp cover has plastic tabs that need to be "popped" out. No tools required. I started at the grill portion and worked toward the fog lamp itself. Reach in and twist lamp harness.

 

How about on an older model 2000 s-type? How do you get to the fog lights?

 

similar to an x5 bmw
take the air sperator off first if you have one 3 Small clips turn them 90 degrees and take off now remove the 2 Black plastic covers next to the fog lights there along side of them

3) unscrew 2 screws from ech light housing and pull it out
from behind twist to the left and you will see the H3 bulb undue the clip or squeeze and you are good to go

not as hard as it sounds

I have the same question, only for the 2000 3.0 S-type.

When I did this job. The outer plastic part (wiring side of connector) was seized together and fell apart in my hand. So it may be brittle.
