Looks like because of Joyces Jag, there might be a 3rd Jaguar in the family..

We purchased our S over 2 years ago. My father inlaw took it for a drive and loved it so much within a month he had purchased an '09 XJ for his retirement present.

Well last evening my sister inlaw was here and I was smelling some major coolant up front on her Infiniti. I popped the hood and low and behold the plastic radiator has a seam that seperated. I have picked up the new radiator amazingly $110.00.

She unwillingly drove Joyces Jag home and will have it for the next couple of days. She (Jeanette) called after her 30 minute drive to tell us how much she LOVED THIS CAR!! And to thank me for convincing her to take the S Type.

I am going to look for an '07/'08 S Type for her. Jeanette is a realtor and willing be driving clients around showing them properties.

YIPPIE!!!! Just thought I would share.

Must be an Infiniti thing. A girl at school told me her Infiniti was overheating and if I could take a look at it so I went out and looked. It had the same exact problem there was a seam seperated and was dropping coolant like a water hose. She ended up taking it to a shop since I was busy till the next day and she wanted it fixed asap. It was about 150 for the radiator when I had looked it up for her. They must go like hotcakes.

And thats only the 3.0, imagine if it was an R hehe. I let a friend's wife drive mine and I guess she must not have ever driven a fast car before. When taking off melted the right rear tire pretty good See if you can find her a nice 4.2

Rick,

Two words. Call me. We'll find her something.

Take care,

George

Will do George, thank you.

We are going to stick with what "we" know the 3.0.

Funny thing I asked Joyce while driving her to work today if we should sell yours to your sister and then YOU can get the R that YOU have always wanted! Joyces response....then we would have to give her a deal....NO!

So now you're going to be the caretaker for TWO of these maintenance-demanding vehicles?! Good luck with your search and keep us posted....

Nah just a radiator leak. Problem is she got to drive a jag instead of the typical front drive toyonisubishi (which all but the q45's are) and they are completely different animals.

Take care

George
