So I'm thinking of getting the key coilovers. If I did I would have no need for the CAT system and I would like to bypass it so I don't get a CAT system fault

Unplug it before you start the car and you will be fine

I read of an STR owner who put resistors in place which tricked the system into thinking the CATS shocks were still connected. Despite disconneting the CATS module and making a hard reset, he kept on getting CATS SYSTEM ERROR messages (or something like that). Resistors fixed that.

Disconnect the module, i dont know why he had the fault unless he unplugged the wrong module. Ive done many changeovers over the years and never had that occur. Matter of fact you can sell the module if someone wants to convert to cats and install the adaptive shocks. The harness is already there for the module and shocks
