This part has already failed on my 04 S-type I really need to have it replaced asap but I have no Idea of what it is exactly. Your help would be greatly appreciated. This car has become my everyday driver and I can't drive it do to this hose? being damaged. I think it just cracked due to the temperature changes.

After thinking about it a few minutes. You might want to check ALL vacuum lines before ordering just 1 piece.

It could be called a crankcase breather hose.

PCV is Positive Crakcase Ventilation.
