I found that Engine Coolant Temperature can be monitored live in Engineering Test Mode. The digital speedometer is also quite a useful function, although earlier I did 800mph because it doesn't use a decimal point!

I hope you long since found that any OBD tool can read ECT.

You can read IAT2 as I posted.

For whatever reason I've never been able to display ECT on my clone elm 327.

No luck entering the mode and pin you kindly provided for the IAT2 in the add custom PID screen yet.

Buy another. They're only a few quid (or $). And/or get another app/phone. They're also cheap.

Id say if the app's bad to file an error report but I doubt that's worth even trying.
