Okay well after a week of research I've done my homework and come to a conclusion on an aftermarket in-dash 7" navi/dvd monitor.. I found a good audio shop in town that is going to do the install and I've decided on purchasing the Kenwood DNX7100. It's the 2007 model by Kenwood that pretty much does everything. It is a motorized 7" double-din monitor that sits right in the dash instead of the flip out style screen's. It comes with a separate brain for GPS Navigation so you don't have to use a CD like some other aftermarket navigation systems. It also plays any kind of DVDs, CDs, as well as a direct iPod hookup which will allow me to play music and video from my iPod directly on the monitor. It also has bluetooth, satelllite radio, and steering wheel control capability which are optional add-ons. I ordered some of the equipment so I will be getting it done once everything comes in over the next week or so. I'll definitely post pictures and let you guys know everything goes for anyone who was thinking of doing this as well.

 

I have a 2000 S-Type with fac nav and I can't buy updated discs, so I'm going to replace with a Panasonic pop-out with all the bells and neat stuff. I noticed in your photos there is a pull out tray where my nav screen is now. Was that already in your dash or did you get it from Jag dealer?
