Default Jaguar Electrical Diagrams FAQ

Hi folks, you might find this link to a whole host of Jaguar electrical diagrams to be a useful source for electrical information. (came accross it with m0t0rm0uth last Autumn)

The site seems to include most Jaguar models by Model/Year. There is undoubtedly some repetition, but there are just too many files for me to download and cross reference them all.

The files are in pdf. format and as is stated, some of them are quite large.

The site: captainjaguarscathouse.com

The Link: Captain Jaguars Electrical Diagrams

Hope you find it useful, if you have not already come across it. There are also other interesting sections in the Resources page.

All the best

As far as I can see Yes, but not everyone has the program installed (even though there is a download) hence the reason for the quick link in the FAQ.

The download site owner does say that this is where he extracted them from.

For me, at least, another advantage of the FAQ sections is that one can quickly refer a questionner to previously published information, which for various reasons they may not have found for themselves.

All the very best,

Default I need a description of each pin

I am trying to swap my sat-nav unit from s-type 2003 for not sat nav climate control unit. Unfortunately the wires do not match. I was trying to find any adaptors...but with no succeed. If anybody in here would know the schematic of pin connection from both units this from sat-nav and the sond one so I could make my own adaptor.
I attached 3 photos- the first one is my wiring connection for sat-nav, the second and the third one is my separate climate unit.

I think you'll find:
1. the diagrams show the pin numbers
2. this has been covered in threads where people did the satnav change

Default Yellow & white wires to window motor

Attempting to roll up a window before repairing ignition
Got to the wires
Yellow & white wires connect to the motor
And there’s a few more smaller wires
How do I roll it up with the + & - wire extensions from the battery ?
