Hi,
I have had my issue diagnosed and it is clearly a valve cover gasket leak. It is the 2002 4.0 model and I'm not sure where to go to find a step by step guide or documentation. Is this job do-able given I have all the needed tools? I'm planning on making videos and posting them as a reference to others and want the best information & procedures. Many Thanks!

 

Why not get the manual which is called the JTIS? It's free on this forum and I use it regularly. Just be aware that all Jaguar documentation assumes you know something about car repair.

At the top of the forum are links that stay there all the time as they are important. One of them is the JTIS thread.

You can also get a cheap repair disc off EBay but not sure how it will compare.

No need to post any video's this is a simple repair and has been done many times.
