Here's a UK supplier who will airmail anywhere in the World:

www.balljointboots.co.uk/ (see Boot 3)

However, I wouldn't just change a boot unless I knew exactly when it had split and was absolutely sure no road dirt had worked its way in.

A ball joint is a low cost item. You have to free it from the arm to change the boot anyway so the only difference between replacing the boot and the ball joint is the need for tracking after the joint is replaced.

A ball joint on any modern Jaguar like the S-type (or XJ, X-type, XF etc), is definitely not a low cost item ! These are commonly not separately supplied and one has to buy the whole wishbone, or hubcarrier. In comparision, a ball-joint boot is very cheap.

Earlier cars have separately replaceable ball joints, of course. Would that it were so on the later cars !

I recently ordered a complete 10-piece front suspension kit (including all four ball joints) for my 1999 Dodge Ram pickup for the unbelievable price of $89 with free shipping from Detroit Axle. This is for new parts, not refurbished parts. The quality is fantastic. All parts in this kit have a 10-year warranty. My local Dodge dealership's price for just one ball joint is nearly $100, so after doing the research this decision was a no-brainer....

Detroit Axle sells some Jaguar parts as well. Call them and ask. It's (888) 583-0255. Given your car's age, I would replace the ball joints, not just their boots. The boots age and crack, the grease escapes, water and grime gets in, and your ball joints' days are numbered no matter what you try to do to save them....
