Default Just Purchased a 2002 S-Type Sport, have a few questions...

I just bought a 02 S-Type Sport In seafrost green with tan and black interior, looks beautiful. I have a few questions....

How many quarts of oil does it take? and would you do synthetic?
and trunk does not seem to open in the interior, nor on the switch on the lid. Only the Key remote pops it open.

Thank you guys!

Have you checked the valet switch in the glove compartment?

The oil depends on the engine which you didn't specify. Qty is in the handbook I think but failing that JTIS.

There should be a little cable or string that attaches on the left outside of the box.

I will check on that, and if there isn't anything there, then can it be purchased separate?

Just wanted to know if one of you guys can help me. I experienced a leak today while it was raining in the center console area on the top where the sunroof switch console is. It looks like either the sunroof has a bad seal, the the windshield rubber is bad. The headliner is a bit wet it that area and the drip is coming straight through the light area by the sunroof switch, and leaks right into the j-gate! Anyone experienced this issue before?

Probably the drain tubes from the sunroof area are blocked or disconnected. I think was a common issue on the pre-face lift cars.
