Key Dance for 2002 Jaguar S-Type 3.0

What is the code stored in the system? The code is often the result of other reasons that must be reviewed prior to making an assumption.
Is it Bank1 or Bank2? Is it the upstream or downstream oxygen sensor?

I think it's Bank 1. I am not sure. They said it had a cylinder misfire on Cylinder 5. Also, the parts house said a tuneup will probably fix it as well as replacing the oxygen sensor. They also mentioned a problem with the ignition coil. The car sat up in the body shop for about 4 months or more, as it had been in an accident.
The cylinder designation depends on the year of the vehicle. See the attached file.
How many kilometres/miles are on the vehicle?
You need to post the DTCs that were stored in the system so forum members can help you to determine the cause. Hopefully the parts house did not erase the codes.
A 'tune-up' is a guess that is not going to solve the issue at hand. More than likely there may be a faulty coil unit, or there could be oil in the spark plug wells causing the coil to short. Bank1 (RH side of engine when viewed from the driver's position) requires removal of the inlet manifold to access the coil units and spark plugs. If there is oil present in the spark plug wells, the cam cover gasket and spark plug boss seal must be replaced with Jaguar parts. In my experience, the aftermarket seals and gaskets begin to fail shortly after installation.
Download and review the JTIS Workshop Manual, which is a free download on this forum so you can become familiar with the procedures if you intend to do any of the work yourself.

I used FelPro aftermarkets 6 years ago, haven't had a problem yet. At the time there was a large, almost huge price difference.
No, I will not be doing any work on it as I am not a mechanic. Just trying to pinpoint the problems and what all needs to be done to fix it for my sister. It's her car. She got it as a gift.
Seems you are quite lucky. That has not been my experience with my own vehicles and those of my clients.
Did the Technician performing the work for you exchange coil units with another cylinder to determine if the DTC changes to that other cylinder? They must also check for oil being present in the spark plug well for cylinder number five.
Once the misfire is corrected, have the codes erased and drive the vehicle for at least 50 miles to have the systems return to the ready mode. If the P0430 DTC returns, it is most likely the catalytic converter that needs to be replaced, not the oxygen sensors.
