hey guys... so another issue as of today.. I lost my freaking car key.. lol.. so driving witha valet key for now.

can we upgrade our old keys (2000 jaguar S-type) to the newer flip out keys???

Without a doubt the key will work once cut, but call the *********** and ask them if it can be programmed.

 

yep it will work just needs to be cut and programmed..

 

Hey if you're going to pay $80 for one key you might just want to go to a dealer and ask them what they want for a new key and programming...when the dealer I bought my x from sent me to the jag dealer to get a key the price was $150 for the new keyfob and that was with programming the 2 keys together and what not...although the dealer I bought my car from only paid like 60 or 70 for that key! I was on the phone with my salesman while talking to the lady at jag of novi so she told me how much it costs and what my salesman was going to need a invoice or whatever for...

 

Would I be able to use that key on a 2000 s-type? Or any flip-out key for that matter?
