Knock sensor after market version.
Does anyone have any experience with this brand sensor?

It's about half even the discounted price of an OEM one.

Thanks.
How difficult is the access? I'm generally willing to gamble with namebrand aftermarket parts when access is good. In other words, I don't want to find out the part doesn't work properly and have to tear half the car apart again to go back and install an OEM part.
Very hard access. That's why you want to get it all done right the first time.

Yeah well I could say that about Jaguar's OEM choices for parts vendors just as easily. Most everything comes from China these days so that alone isn't enough of a disqualification.
I think I'll have a peak at the AutoZone version.

I haven’t been too impressed with the quality of AutoZone’s Duralast brand parts. I seem to remember some forum members having trouble with their batteries and coils, for example.
One big tell is what brands do repair shops favor? They work with this stuff everyday and certainly don’t want callbacks due to subpar quality parts. I’ve noticed NAPA and Carquest do robust business with independent repair shops. Not so much for AutoZone, Schucks, Knechts, O’Reillys, etc.
Myself, I am very partial to NAPA. YMMV. But given the difficult access, I’d stay away from the least expensive options. Even I’m not willing to gamble your time and money on Fling Dung brand parts in an AutoZone box.
