locked center consol
2003 v6 s type, center consol latch will not open cover,, cover will slide forward and back but can not open lid. how can i release this latch?

There is a catch each side, about 4" or 5" from the lever but your best bet is probably to pull it open while rocking it side to side. You have to be firm with it.
Don't know if it's possible to repair, but there are some on eBay.
