I am looking for recommendations on what would be a good replacement catalytic converter for a 2004 4.2 s-type
there is nothing in New Zealand

As far as I am concerned the catalytic converter used on the s types are not anything special I would not recommend a China catalytic converter the price is intriguing but I wouldn’t say worth it I found some Magnaflow Ones that are cut and welded for $202 and free shipping at least in the states not sure about out of country they should have some for yours as well and on the magnaflow website I would look there unless you want to spend the $1500 on a OEM one and considering the magnaflows have a 5 year or 50,000 mile warranty and are made in the USA worth the Money I think.
